10' diameter x 46' tall wetwell

The sump pictured above and to the right was part of a large expansion at a multinational oil company's plant just north of Fort Saskatchewan, AB.  During the summer and early fall of 2003 we constructed this 10' diameter x 46' tall wetwell to fit between their brine ponds.  This double wall well was built to withstand the huge ground pressures that occur 46' underground.  With 20 steel reinforcing ribs and a weight of over 15,000 lbs, this well was delivered on time and fit exactly within the strict specifications of the consulting engineers.
