What do you do?
At Focus Industries Inc. we distribute and manufacture liquid handling products to OEMs, retailers, distributors, wholesalers and end users around North America.
Do you have a physical outlet?
Our offices and warehouse are both housed in scenic St. Albert, AB, just outside of Edmonton. At this time we do not encourage walk-in traffic. All orders must be placed by phone or by fax. Our tank plant is located in rural central Alberta in a town called Meeting Creek.
Do you guarantee same day shipping?
Unfortunately, no. We pride ourselves on the accuracy and promptness that we ship our product but with hundreds of orders coming in each day, shipping same day is not always possible. That is not to say that your products will be late. Well over 90% of the orders that come in to our office are off the order desk, through the warehouse and out the door same day.
You have The Handler on this site. How long have you been manufacturing that product?
The Handler is quickly becoming the industry standard in the mixing and handling of agriculture chemicals. In late 2000, we finalized the exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights of The Handler and now we are aggressively distributing The Handler throughout North America and looking for dealers around the world.
You have Versa Products on this site. How long have you been manufacturing that product?
On January 1, 2003 we finalized the purchase of Versa Fibreglass Products. Versa is now a brand of Focus Industries Inc. These products continue to be manufactured in Meeting Creek, AB.
How do I get a copy of your catalogues mailed to me?
If you are a business and are interested in business-to-business sales with us please contact us.
You have pricing in your catalogues. Is this what I will have to pay?
No. The pricing in our catalogues is list pricing. When you set up an account with us, you will get a separate multiplier for the products in our catalogues. These multipliers are based on your annual volume, the number of stores that you are purchasing for, etc. The list pricing shown is a suggested retail price that you may, but do not have to, follow when reselling product to the public.
Your pricing is in Canadian dollars. Will you export?
Definitely! We purchase our products in such high volumes, that often our pricing, when converted to US dollars with the extremely favorable exchange rate is LESS than that of American distributors. In the case of our pumps, we purchase engines directly from manufacturers such as Honda and Baldor, and we purchase the pump ends directly from manufacturers such as Banjo and Gorman-Rupp. These pumps are then assembled at low cost in our plant in Canada resulting in some of the lowest prices anywhere!
And since we are the manufacturer of The Handler line of chemical handling and mixing equipment and seed treaters, we most certainly will, and do, export our Handler products all over the world.
Unfortunately we are unable to export our underground fibreglass septic and sewage holding tanks or water cisterns.
I am an end user. Can I buy from you?
With a few exceptions, no.
You said "a few exceptions". What do you mean by this?
Some of the products that we sell have a limited market and this allows us to sell direct to the end user. Products such as fibreglass tanks, some fittings and pumps, and level indicators can be purchased directly from us. This does not mean that we will not re-sell the products to retailers and installers however. We still have discounts based on volume in these product categories.
How do I pay?
We accept cheques, money orders, VISA, and Mastercard. Our preferred method, however, is on account. This allows us to ship the product without having to wait for money up front. All you have to do is request a credit application, and once everything is approved, we will contact you and get going.
I tried to download the catalogues, but it wouldn't work. Why?
What happened to your online store? In order to view the catalogues you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Reader is available completely free of charge from Adobe, and it is an indispensable tool in your internet experience. Literally thousands of websites use the pdf file format on the internet with more using it every day.
If you do have the Reader and are still having problems, I would suggest patience. These files are large and can take a while to download. On a 33.6 or 56K modem you can expect the download to take minutes, not seconds. We guarantee it will be worth the wait.
While very successful, we have found that our online store was difficult to maintain with prices fluctuating as they are. We are re-evaluating our online presence and you may see another online ordering system up again soon.
You didn't answer my question here. How can I contact you?
